"Loved By The Sun" "Loved By The Sun" is the title of a track from the 1986 fantasy movie "Legend" (starring a young Tom Cruise). It was originally an instrumental composed and performed by Tangerine Dream. Jon Anderson (lead singer of Yes) wrote lyrics which were added later. It's a really beautiful song. It has a haunting, ethereal quality, and Jon’s voice gets me every time. In my opinion, it’s worth renting the video just to hear this one song. "YesTor" A "tor" is a certain type of rocky geological formation. On the cover of Yes' 1978 album "Tormato," there is a topographic map centered on Yes Tor, which "is situated two-and-a-half miles from Okehampton, Devon in England. On a clear day, from the top, you can see far away places with strange sounding names." I intended for my email name "YesTor" to be a pun on the above and also "Yes tour," which happens to be one of my favorite things (see here).
